Eyes

Really quick sketch of some eyes. Decided to get my gouache on too! I’m really liking this paint. My boyfriend said that apparently this is “a bit emo”…..whateverrrrrr.

Perch Events

A logo for a vintage events company that my friend is starting. originally drawn in pencil, and then vectored on illustrator with my trusty wacom tablet!

Bike Girl

I ended up buying a really cheap laptop (r.i.p macbook :( ), so have been reunited with illustrator and my scanner! PHEW!

Okay I lied, I ended up putting this in to illustrator in the end! BUT I did do this with my new gouache paints:

This is the beginnings of a flyer I am designing for a new vegetarian cafe that one of my friends is opening in my town soon. Gouache is amazing! The colours are wonderful and creamy and uh! It’s just great.

Reaaallly unfinished. My lack of laptop and scanner is getting me down, not being able to build up a portfolio for my website is annoying! Hopefully this will be rectified soon, my boyfriend is going to try to fix my macbook and I'm bringing my scanner to where I'm currently staying next week. All of this moving around is getting silly. 

Also, I've ordered some gouache and am impatiently waiting for it to drop in the post box! Think this may turn in to my first proper gouache piece. Either that or I'll take it to illustrator if I completely give up.

Things will pick up again soon.

Thinking of starting a little comic. Freshly warmed clothing from a radiator is the best.

Ziggy Stardust

I entered in to Ideas Tap's competition with Poolga to create two iphone wallpapers. David bowies 40th Anniversay of his alter ego Ziggy Stardust was this month, so decided to base it on that! the moon is in the same place on each panel, so that if you have one on the lock screen and one on the home page, they line up! Geeky detail right there, I know.
