It's almost Christmas:

I have to say that i was ever so slightly disappointed earlier today...

recently i have been noticing signs around town saying "the secret garden". i had somehow managed to create this idealistic daydream in my head about how amazing finding this secret garden would be, and had been meaning to find out what it was all about for a week or so.
So today a friend and i went on a bit of a chilly adventure and tried to find it. we followed the signs and then noticed that they disappeared, so we carried on walking only to go around in a loop and find what we had missed the first time round: "the secret garden" is in fact a housing development!!!!

i'm sure you can imagine that this shattered my daydream into a million tiny little pieces, and has possibly deterred me from going on another adventure for a little while to come!

on the other hand, here are a few more doodles from art foundation just in case hearing about that story wasn't thrilling enough! (haha)

i'm trying to make up some sort of excuse that these are related to what i am doing

Moleskine

i have been waiting for my moleskine pocket-size sketchbook for a week and it finally came!
instantly i went to draw on the first page and couldn't think of anything. its so difficult to draw on first pages of sketchbooks...this is what it looks like anyway!

although my scanner has taken something away from it. it hate how scanners do that.

p.s : it's Halloween tomorrow, and i am going to a party as princess tiger lily from peter pan, i know, not exactly the scariest character in the world haha. so there will probably be plenty of lovely photos on their way of people pretending to be other people, or different things in the some cases, EEK!

first ever blog!

well, i suppose i should give a run-down of what this is all going to be about... i don't really know to be honest with you, i suppose it will just be everyday happenings in my life, with photos and god knows what else thrown into it.
it will be like a nice mixing-pot of everything in my world!
i think i am looking at this blog as one of my various art projects, and because i usually do this kind of thing on paper no one really gets to see them, i thought i'd might make this a public one that people can see and hopefully enjoy.
once i get the hang of this blogging thing i shall post something a lot more interesting up hopefully
